The church is the body of Jesus Christ.
JARS OF CLAY ASSEMBLY
Jars of Clay Assembly
We are vessels of clay, and Jesus Christ alone is the eternal treasure. We prepare worship where God’s glory—not a person’s name—is revealed.
“We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”2 Corinthians 4:7
OUR CHURCH
The church we seek to be
We seek to be a church where every believer abides in the Lord, remains connected to Him, and always stands before Him.
Jesus Christ alone is the head of the church. Leaders and speakers do not replace God or gather people to themselves; they serve so that believers may look to Christ and approach God directly.
Our final goal is to equip every believer to read Scripture, pray, discern in the Holy Spirit, and walk with the Lord in every part of life.
Those who serve Jars of Clay Assembly are, like every other believer, vessels of clay carrying Jesus Christ as the treasure. No one takes the place between believers and God, and every act of service must be a channel that helps believers look to Jesus Christ and come directly to the Lord.
A DECLARATION OF RESTORATION
A Declaration of Restoration
for the Church Today
This declaration is not written to attack the church, but is a confession of love longing for the church to be restored with Jesus at the centre.
Jesus Alone · Faith Alone · God Alone · Scripture Alone · And LoveJesus alone is enough.
Believers are children of God.
Worship is not a condition, but adoration.
The Word is the light of life given to every believer.
Every believer belongs to a royal priesthood.
The calling to make and teach disciples is given to every believer.
Church office is not power, but service.
Vulnerable members and new believers are especially precious.
The church should be honest and transparent.
The church is a community where love and respect flow.
Reformation is not rebellion, but restoration.
Foundational Scriptures
He is the head of the body, the church.
By grace you have been saved through faith.
You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood.
I am the vine; you are the branches.
Love one another … by this everyone will know that you are my disciples.
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Without love, office and mission are nothing.
Lord, let us all stand before You and serve in love and grace. Make us a church for whom Jesus alone is enough. Amen.Jesus Christ alone is the head of the church.
SEVEN WORSHIP PRINCIPLES
Seven worship principles
01God alone is the centre of worship
+
We honour the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. No speaker, leader, or founder is placed at the centre; we desire the name of Jesus Christ alone to be exalted.
02The Word is not monopolised by one person
+
Trusted and prepared members—pastors, missionaries, lay believers, young people, and elders—may share biblical messages, reflections, testimonies, and stories of grace.
03The speaker is a channel, not the destination
+
A speaker does not gather people behind themselves, but helps listeners seek God, look to Jesus Christ, and come directly to the Lord.
04We discern every message together
+
No speaker’s words are identical with Scripture. Every teaching is examined in the light of the Bible. Questions are welcomed as part of seeking truth, not condemned as unbelief.
05Every believer is an honoured member of Christ’s body
+
The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer. We do not measure spiritual worth by title, education, social position, fame, or closeness to a leader.
06We accept no offerings or donations
+
We operate no offering or donation account. Worship and all online content are freely open to everyone. Please serve neighbours in need directly according to prayer, conscience, and personal responsibility. We do not receive or broker funds.
07Our goal is for believers to meet God
+
Our goal is not membership, subscribers, views, fame, or financial growth. We help each soul abide in Christ, remain connected through Scripture and prayer, and bear fruit in repentance, love, forgiveness, reconciliation, service, integrity, perseverance, and holiness.
LOVE IN ACTION
Sharing love directly
Jars of Clay Assembly accepts no offerings or donations. If you find someone in need, please bring love directly within your means—encourage the lonely, feed the hungry, care for the sick, support struggling families, and serve where the love and gospel of Christ can continue to bear good fruit.
The heart that acts in love matters more than the size of the gift.
